Dong Xuan Market by Night

On weekends nights, the streets around Dong Xuan market come alive. The road stretching from Dong Xuan market (top of image) to the tip of Hoan Kiem lake (bottom of image) is closed for Hanoi’s biggest night market.

The market stretches about 800 meters long with stalls on both sides of the streets, as well as right in the middle. Business starts as soon as the sun sets around 6pm and continue through the night until about 2am.

Most of the stalls are selling either souvenirs, clothings, home decorations, handphone accessories, women’s accessories or probably some things that I never seen before outside Vietnam. Not really the type of stuffs I’m interesting in shopping though.

I’m interested in the street foods like in the picture below. The stall was selling dessert and just look at the number of people surrounding the stall.

Stalls like this can be found along the entire stretch of the night market; selling desserts, sugar cane water, sausages, BBQ squids, noodles, corns, japanese meatballs and lots more.

Try to spot which is the seller and where is the stall!
