Blue Screen-ed, Again!

This thing is really getting on my nerves now.

I’ve been seeing this for the fifth time today (forgotten how many times for yesterday) while working on my new project. What used to be a routine 15 minutes work took me almost 2 hours to complete.

Dive At Pulau Dayang!

Pulau Dayang dive sites

Next up : & .

Exactly 4 weeks to go before I board my plane back to and then…my next dive trip!

This island is off the coast of Mersing and is very popular among our kiasu neighbors for their weekend dive trip. I’m expecting to see lots and lots of them there with super gaya & canggih equipments.

After this trip, Philippines maybe?

Sports Overdose

I realized there’s one good thing about this hotel. They have all the TV channels that I ever need to keep myself occupied every night. There are more than 100 channels for me to choose from, but I found myself switching between only 2 channels - ESPN and Supersports.

Good. I only need to remember 2 numbers on my remote. That’s more than enough unless I suddenly develop unusual interests in Hindi movies.

Things started with Roland Garros for 2 weeks when I arrived. I’ve never held a tennis racket before, so forget about playing it. But, I love watching tennis, both Masters events and Grand Slams.

When Roland Garros ended, EURO2008 started and it kept me entertained every night until the quater-final stages last weekend. One good thing to be in India during EURO2008 is because of it’s time zone. The early match starts at 9.30pm and the late match starts at 12.15am. It won’t be that early in the morning even if the matches go into penalty shootouts, in which they did. Otherwise, I’ll have a really hard time getting up for work back in KL.

Wimbledon started last Sunday. It’s still in the early rounds though. Matches aren’t that interesting yet, but Djokovic is already out after losing to Safin. I’m sure there will be more tennis coming up for me in the next 10 days.

The 3 weeks long Tour de France starts 1 day before the final of Wimbledon. I only started watching this event last year and it was fun to watch even though I know little about professional cycling teams and tactics back then.

Astana is banned from participating. Speaking of Astana and it’s riders, 3 of them who have a very good chance of winning; last year’s winner Alberto Contador, Andreas Kloden and Levi Leipheimer won’t be featuring. Let’s hope there will be more attacks and counter attacks on the mountain stages like what happened last year between Alberto Contador and Michael Rasmussen, even though 3 big riders are out.

And…not forgetting the Formula 1 races in between all those weekends as well.

When Tour de France ends, that’s when my project here will end. Looks like everything besides work is well panned out now.

4 more weeks to go, and counting!
